First, take your Sonya eyeliner pencil and start lining from the outer corner of your eye inward. Next ” smudge” the pencil across, keeping as close as you can to the lash line. It is not necessary to draw a perfect line all in one stroke. Now take one of your Palette applicators or the special “smudger” from your Sonya brush set and gently smudge the colour up and outward. To finish, soften and set the lid wit a bit of Sonya Translucent Powder and gently buff in.

The secret is to apply lighter colours to areas that need to be more prominent and darker colours to areas that need to recede. If your eyes have less than one “eye wideth” between them , then you have close-set eyes and need more colour toward the outer corner. if your eyes have more than one ” eye width” between them, you have wide-set eyes and need more colour toward the inner corner of your eye.
In general apply darker shades in the outer corner of the eyes, Use an upward lift at the corner to bring out shape of your eyes.

If you using a medium clour for the eyelid, apply that first evenly across the upper eyelid. now glide the brush across the darker shadow and tap the brush lightly to remove any excess. gently apply the darker colour in crease of your eye and blend. now go ahead and apply the Sonya mascara as a finishing touch.
